Quick Trip to CVS

Papa had a phone interview this afternoon so puppy and I took a ride so Papa could concentrate and have the house to himself....with no barking dogs in the background!

Anyway, I did a quick run to CVS since I had $3 ECB's and wanted to see if I could find any deals and grab some more tissues.  Here's what I ended up with....

2 boxes of CVS brand tissues (70 count)
1  6 pack of Brawny paper towels (this will last us at least six months!)
5 bottles of Purex laundry detergent (43.5 oz each)

Total Spent:  $14.81
Earned $5 ECB's

Not too bad in my book!  And I am stocked up on laundry detergent through at least the winter!

  1. TrayceeBee, FYI: there's a $1.00 Ibotta rebate on the Purex (just 1 though) but you need a cell phone to download the app (if you haven't signed up yet and want to, would you mind using my referral link? Also, the CVS tissues with lotion (120 ct) are on sale for $0.99 too and there are $1.00 off coupons in a CVS Pharmacy booklet that was on display at my CVS a couple of weeks ago (not sure if they're still around but the store coupons inside are good through March). I didn't keep the whole brochure so I can't remember what the front looks like but it was about the size of a paperback. HTH!

How did your husband's interview go?

    1. Thanks for the heads up! I don't have the CVS booklet but I may run back over there in my travels and see if there are any left. And I will probably download the ibotta app later this morning - especially now since I know I bought something to redeem.

The interview went well (he thinks). They said they would let him know by the end of the week if they are planning on bringing him in for an actual in person interview. And he's fairly sure they will be calling him in. Fingers crossed!!

    2. I found my blog post where I had put a picture of the brochure:

It's the Minute Clinic brochure with a girl and her dog and snow on the cover. Ask the pharmacist for it if you don't see it on display, in case they keep them behind the counter.

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for your husband!

  2. I really need to print out my CVS coupons. We totally need tissues so I should go over and get lots of stuff. I guess I will put it on the long list of things that I don't get done but awesome trip. I just got four bottles of All at HT for $1 each. It is great to find the lowest price and know that you have enough of that stuff to last for ages and then you get to take that off your mind.

    1. Four dollars for four bottles of All detergent?!?! That's awesome!!! But, yeah I am happy to have the laundry detergent stocked up again. I was down to actually zero before this and the Shop Rite trips.
