Working on the Menus for Crazy Week!



This is CRAZY WEEK here in my world.  The last week of school where there are finals, frantic searches for missing school books, and an 8th grade graduation in the mix will all be crammed into the next five days!

Still, I would like some sort of meal plan in place, right?  Instead of scheduling dinner by days for this week, I am just going to organize WHAT I will be making and try to be flexible with the WHEN.


Breakfasts
Monkey Bread
English Muffins with Butter or Jelly
Breakfast Delight
Croissants
Apple Strudel
Yogurt with Fruit and Granola
Cold Cereal

Lunches
Leftovers
BBQ Chicken Wraps
Pasta Salad
Egg Salad Sandwiches with Chips (Papa)
Ramen Noodle Soup


Dinners*
*only four planned since Friday night we plan on going out to dinner to celebrate Guppy 2's graduation from 8th grade*

Roasted Garlic with Italian Bread
Sauteed Spinach

Pan Roasted Chicken Breast with Mushrooms, Thyme, Lemon, & Capers

It's going to be definite trial and error as I start to plan out dinners once summer vacation begins!

How do you handle your summer menus?  Do you take into account spontaneous beach trips? Or carting the kids to their activities/friend's houses/etc?
